MY BUSINESS ERA

This has been an exceptional growth journey. Finding a balance between my authentic self and creating a successful business.

My core values surround kindness, humility, compassion and building supportive communities and networks. Encouraging others in their hopes and dreams, with a 'how can I help attitude'. I hold a quiet confidence and am often standing in the back observing and quietly saying here I am.

In business I have had to boldly put myself in the front and claim here I am - it's been an uncomfortable journey filled with many tears as it's felt I was going against my authentic self and the person I strive to be.

I trialled many things that did not feel in alignment with what I wanted to deliver, opinions flowed in - pushing and pulling in many directions - being told I was too soft, too kind, not pushy enough, not ambitious enough, not confident enough and that I had no self-belief in what I have to deliver.

The truth is I hadn't found yet what aligned with my soul igniting yet another spark.

How could I create something that gives back to so many? how can I make something that will create a difference in the world?

So I have landed here:

Supporting businesses who struggle with the behind the scenes content, struggle to capture their products and services that captivate audiences, facilitating connection through conveying the why's and how's through imagery.

It aligns with my core values and my interests in helping, supporting, encouraging others:

Photographing their passion that they are sharing to the world through business. I am driven by the belief that photography is not just about creating images, but the telling of stories.

I endeavour to focus on capturing the countless moments of emotion, and connection, capturing the essence of people in their most authentic states.

MY PEACE ERA

At about 23 I quit photography, burnt out, overworked 12-21 hours a day spanning a week to over months straight at a time - FIFO. I lost my love, my passion, I grew to hate what I did.

For 1 entire year.

I stopped.

Never touched a camera for 12months - hid it from sight.

My love for the outdoors grew, hiking, camping, surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, canyoning.

This re-ignited the new era - I started taking my camera to capture the peaceful silence of the moments I experienced in isolation, completely disconnected to technology. I still continued to balance sports imagery whilst building the direction of where and what I wanted to achieve, it grew and continues to grow...

Now in the chapter of business.
